I went and dug up a few bits and pieces today, and put in our new composting bin (that we got from the council for naught). It was such a lovely sunny day I returned to take some photos to motivate me in the dark days of winter, showing that it is all worthwhile.

It's hard to believe that Summer is almost over. I'm very much into gardening and being outdoors during the warm months myself.
Winter can be quite beautiful as well though.
