Vin's return

Here is Vin just after coming through the arrival doors, on his return from New Zealand, via a long and delayed trip which took in Melbourne, Manilla, Hong Kong and London. It was great to see him again, and he didn't seem too fed up to be back in rainy old blighty

Sunny day

I went and dug up a few bits and pieces today, and put in our new composting bin (that we got from the council for naught). It was such a lovely sunny day I returned to take some photos to motivate me in the dark days of winter, showing that it is all worthwhile.

I dug up these Pink Fir Apple poatatoes last week. They are really tasty, and not floury like the other ones we grew. They look a bit weird, but the flavour and texture is great.
