Night view

This picture was taken from the top of Birks Fell (around 2000ft) two weeks ago, the day before full moon. I went up at the end of a work day in amazingly bright conditions, and by the time I got to the top the sky was totally dark, and the only light was from the moon. It was very impressive. The orange flecks on the clouds are from town lights over Settle way. The shutter was open for about four seconds to take the picture.

Ben Nevis

These are two photos of and from Ben Nevis, one from across the Great Glen, and one the view near the top, before the clouds descended and the views ended. It was nice up there though, even in the cloud as there was quite a bit of snow.
