Giant Tree

While in the Lakes we went to see a Giant Tree, which has its own car park (called Giant Tree car park), beside Thirlmere. You can just make out Grace at the bottom. It was pretty big, but the thing about large trees is that it is difficult to really appreciate their size properly when standing beneath them.

Rigg Beck

We went to the Lakes yesterday and while there went up to have a look at Rigg Beck, which is pretty delapidated. I managed to crawl through a hole in a back window and have a look around inside. It wasn't particularly scary, or sad, and I'm pleased I managed to get in.
